We loved Gary so much! He always sat at our table at Bop Club events. He was the only single guy at our table - we used to say that we were his "safety zone". He also sat with us at Pig N Whistle parties and at the annual Dancin' In The Park Dance Weekend. He always brought an extra shirt to change into cause he literally danced up a sweat! Dancing with Gary was the most fun! He had a great little "kick" in his bop step. It was a challenge for me to try to match his step. I finally got the hang of it!

He talked about his boys and his grandkids alot. He was so proud of them. I know that as much as all his dance buds are going to miss him that the family members are going to be lost without him. He was like a big Teddy Bear that you wanted to hug and laugh with. He will be missed every time we hear the music and dance! Many sympathies to all the family.

Oh, how we will miss our dance buddy. Gary always lifted my spirits with his bright smile and bear hugs. I have heard it said that people forget what you do, but they never forget how you made them feel. The world was a brighter place when you were here. Dance on. There must be a rock and roll heaven.

Although we only knew Gary through our dance club, we found him to be a kind, genuine and friendly guy. Gary was a great dancer and was always cheerful. His love and care for his grandchildren could always be seen in his eyes when he talked about them. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all those who know him. To his family I would say to always remember that another Rose has been chosen for Our Master's Bouquet. Blessings always.

It is difficult to find the words to express how much Gary will be missed. He was truly a Godly man, good, generous and loving. His booming laughter was contagious. If you were his friend, he would do anything to help you. To Forrest, Joel, Ronnie and your families, I am deeply sorry for your loss.

We will miss Gary as he was one of a kind man. I loved dancin with him every chance I got. He loved talking about his Grandchildren; taking them fishing, giving them money for shopping and Birthdays and spending time w/them...they were very special to him. He was a man of few words...."UNTIL' he started talking about his Grandchildren. So sorry to lose a Friend, a Fellow Dancer, and a very Special Person. Our Deepest Sympathy To All His Family
