
Gary “Goober” Dickinson, 63, of Malvern passed away February 18, 2016. He was born on November 21, 1952 in Jones Mill to Harold and Mary Fite Dickinson. Gary was a member of the Round Hill Hunting Club and an avid outdoorsman, who loved to spend his time hunting and fishing. He also loved to dance and taught lessons at Spa City Bop & Swing Club. Gary was also a part of the Local Steel Workers Union.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents.
Gary is survived by his sons, Forrest (Tiffani) Dickinson of Kansas City, MO, Joel (Dolly Maddox) Dickinson of Magnet Cove; and one brother, Ronnie (Donna) Dickinson of Magnet Cove. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Tucker, Zhen-Zhen, Harper, Zoie, and Davis Dickinson, Nicholas, Brendon, and Zakary Maddox, two nephews, Jake, Joseph (Angela) Dickinson and a great-nephew Triston Dickinson, as well as a host of friends and extended family.
Memorial Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Shorewood Hills United Methodist Church with Don Robinson officiating.
